Finance Manager

We are recruiting for an SME based in Burton on Trent, who are just starting on an exciting growth plan.  They have been through a restructuring process, ensuring the business is set up to grow and meet the expectations of the Overseas Parent Company. 

They are now embarking on an exciting but challenging growth project, working closely with the MD this role will support the business in areas from a Finance perspective.  Regular reporting to Group and setting up the financial controls and processes to ensure they are on track and efficient.

Responsibilities

• To provide reporting necessary to aid control and support decision making


• To control the financial ledgers ensuring they are accurate at all times


• To support senior management in all matters financial


• To manage and support external agencies e.g. Auditors, HMRC


• To provide financial information to Group in a timely and accurate manner


• To overview consignment stock is controlled and correctly analysed

The role requires a fully Qualified ACCA, ACMA or ACA Accountant who has experience of working within an SME and managing a small team in a very hands on role. 

This is s great role, which will give clear visibility of the impact you are making within the business, working closely with the MD and being part of the SMT to develop the UK Business.
