Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare precise and timely financial reports, statements, and presentations for executive management.
- Monitor key financial metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
Cost Control and Optimisation:
- Work with various departments to analyse operational costs and uncover opportunities for cost reduction.
- Implement effective cost control measures to boost profitability and efficiency.
- Offer financial insights and strategic recommendations to support business decisions.
Cash Flow Management:
- Oversee cash flow management, including forecasting, working capital analysis, and liquidity management.
- Enhance cash flow through strategic cash management practices.
- Assess financial risks and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Financial Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and execute financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in line with our strategic goals.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management to support business growth initiatives.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, conduct feasibility studies, and assess project financial viability.
People Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering their professional growth.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set clear goals, and offer regular feedback.
- Promote a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages effective communication and teamwork.
SAP Expertise:
- Leverage SAP for financial transactions, reporting, and data analysis.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and maintenance of financial records in SAP.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to optimise SAP functionality and resolve issues.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified / finalist
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- At least 6 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or related roles, preferably with some experience of a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
