Finance Manager

Job DescriptionEquifind are excited to have teamed up with a great fintech business, who are looking for a finance manager to join the business in London, for the next 12 months.We’re looking for a hands-on finance manager, who has a solid background with all things operational finance, in addition to handling the general monthly reporting duties. You must be confident, forward thinking and happy to challenge senior management.This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking for a varied role in a highly dynamic business.Key duties and responsibilities for this finance manager position include:Lead the preparation of the monthly management account packs with analysis of monthly numbers identifying variances and resolving or providing commentaryPrepare and review monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entriesAssist with the consolidated reporting for the businessOversee the accounts payable, treasury and expenses functionManage the annual audit for all entities and be a contact point for the auditorsAssist with the preparation of the annual budget for the businessAssist with the preparation and review of the monthly payrollSupport with the production of tax statementsSupport the senior management with MI reporting and analysis for both client and supplier infoHelp improve the financial framework for the business, developing internal controls and policies for the futureGet involved with other various projects and ad hoc work requested by senior management to assist the wider businessExperience & QualificationsA qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2-6 years PQE would be best suited to this roleA background in fintech, SaaS or financial services would be advantageousExperience of Xero or Business Central is highly desirableHistory of being involved and running auditsExperience of managing peopleExperience of acquisitions would be beneficialA proactive approach and ability to work autonomouslyBe a self-starter and have the ability to work on your own accordAbout the businessThe business is a market leader in the fintech world, offering software solutions to a wide range of financial service organisations. It has grown substantially over the past few years and as a result has opened numerous offices internationally.You will be involved in a very dynamic business that has a wide range clients and customers all over the globe.For this role, you will work closely with the head of finance and assist them with the general financial reporting duties and running of the finance team. You’ll also get exposure to supporting the finance team with key decision support.This is a proper hands-on role and you’ll be required to get into the detail and roll up your sleeves.The business operates a highly flexible working pattern and only needs you in the London office once a week.The company is known for having a fantastic culture which mixes hard work and fun, it really is a great organisation.Daily Rate/SalaryThis exciting opportunity for a finance manager will pay between £80k-£85k per annum, depending on your qualifications and industry experience.We are open to looking at candidates on no more than four weeks’ notice.In addition to the flexibility, the perks and benefits are great.
