Finance Manager

IPS Finance has partnered with an entrepreneurial group of companies to recruit a finance manager to support the financial director. The businesses vary across several industries including leisure, property businesses and professional services. This is a hybrid working role with 3 days wfh.
This is a fast-paced role with the potential to influence change. Commercial savviness and the ability to business partner with stakeholders is key along with the ability to multi-task and often get involved in multiple projects.
Duties include:
Oversee the team's production of all company accounts and meeting reporting deadlines
Support the team in finalising year end accounts and tax computations to enable us to keep more of these services in house
Manage cash flows
Support the Finance Director in liaising with external 3rd party advisers where relevant and maintaining banking relationships
Suggest and implement updates and improvements for accounting systems and processes
Work with the Finance Director to develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and trends
Review actual versus plan regularly to identify opportunities to improve EBITDA
Carry out due diligence of prospect business ventures
Overseeing share paperwork and company secretarial for new business set ups
Managing a team of 5 accounts assistants
