Finance Manager

Salary: £62,457 - £70,401 (potential to rise with inflationary uplifts) Hybrid working pattern: 1 day a week in the office, rest from home We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Capital Finance Manager to join a recently centralised capital finance team. This pivotal role involves managing and improving our reporting processes, supporting a team of two Deputy Finance Managers, and establishing key relationships with Directors and budget holders. Key Responsibilities: Enhance reporting and business case processes Manage and support two Deputy Finance Managers Build relationships with Directors and budget holders Play a key role in budget setting and closing accounts Essential Skills and Qualifications: Qualified accountant (preferably CIPFA) Significant capital experience in local government Strong management skills or potential to be a good manager People-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills Keen attitude to learn and adapt quickly to technical capital finance To make a full application once we have your CV we will speak to you and arrange for you to compose a covering letter to be submitted alongside your CV.
