Finance Manager

Invenire are currently working with an independent B2B energy supplier who are dedicated to crafting bespoke supply solutions that surpass industry standards. They are currently looking to hire a Finance Manager to join their growing finance team. In this role, you'll manage cash flow by preparing daily forecasts and conducting variance analysis. This position reports directly to the Head of Finance, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact and advance your career in an exciting and supportive environment The role Manage cash flow by preparing daily forecasts and conducting variance analysis, ensuring optimal working capital by monitoring cash balances, expected settlements, and customer receivables. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, responding to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests with agility and precision. Lead our small Accounts Payable team, ensuring they meet their objectives and targets, and conduct regular appraisals and reviews to identify training needs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Identify risks and propose solutions to drive efficiency and process improvements within the team. Skills required A practical understanding of the Accounts Payable function. Solid IT skills, including proficiency in sage50. In-depth knowledge of cash flow modelling. Proven line management experience, highly desirable if this has been in a Finance Manager position. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Experience creating cash flow forecasts. In-depth understanding of cash flow management and reporting, demonstrating strong commercial and analytical skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
