Finance Manager

Job Role: Finance Manager Location: Leicester Salary:£35-45k Are you a seasoned financial expert with a knack for strategic planning and a passion for driving financial success? We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Finance Manager to lead our finance team and contribute to our company's growth and stability. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning: Develop and oversee financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts. Preparation of monthly management accounts including supporting reconciliations Review control accounts reconciliations on a rolling basis to aid year end accounting including extract and checks on profit and loss analysis Oversee bank reconciliations Monitor the completion and production of sales and purchase ledger providing authorisation Assist with the preparation of year end accounts, including the provision of support and assistance during the annual audit ensuring it is delivered in a timely and effective manner Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analyses. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure company stability. Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental goals. Cost Management: Monitor and control company expenditures and financial performance. What We're Looking For: Experience: Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role. Education: Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field ACA/AAT preferred. Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Technology: Proficiency with financial software and MS Office Suite. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
