Company Overview:
An exciting opening has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager at a leading flooring contractor for the new house build sector, with offices located across England. Based at the Head Office in Winsford, the successful candidate will manage the day to day running of the accounts department, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness, reporting directly to the Finance Director.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage the accounts department day to day, staffing requirements and annual leave
Ensure sales invoicing deadlines are met
Bank control account reconciliations on NetSuite
Authorise and make bank payments on bankline
Weekly checks of subcontractor invoices and proposed payments prepared by the Accounts Assistants
Ensure Trainee Management Accountant meets monthly deadlines
Monthly submission of CIS subcontractor deductions to accountants and checking of CIS returns
Provide monthly reports for staff overtime to FD for payroll
Prepare monthly management accounts for approval by the FD
Communicate with all departments and branches of the business
Communicate with external accountants
Year end and audit work to help accountants to compile financial statements
Reconcile sales orders to Schedule-it weekly
Prepare discounted (20 th ) and month end payment run for approval by HOF
Spot check supplier statement reconciliations
Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as set by the FD

Essential Skills and Experience Required:
Experience of working in a similar role within a busy office environment
Accounts qualification, minimum AAT
Experience of preparing financial statements
Experience of managing people
Knowledge of treatment of VAT, CIS, accounting standards & business tax
Ability to prioritise
Good organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Confident telephone manner
Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel
NetSuite experience is essential for this role

Schedule: Monday to Friday 37.75 hours per week - Full time/permanent
Work Location: CW7/in person
