Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee and deliver all financial operations, planning, analysis, and reconciliations. This includes managing accounting systems, budgets, financial forecasting, reporting, cash and ledger management, and payroll. The role involves timely reporting to the Senior Management and Team and Board of Governors, supporting financial aspects of tendering, fee reviews, and grant processes, and providing multidisciplinary support and line management to the Finance Team.



Key information:




  • Must have CCAB or CIPFA qualification

  • Use of Pegasus Opera



Key Responsibilities:



- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial information to the CEO and Board.



- Financial Management: Handle reconciliations, end-of-year returns, audits, debtor monitoring, and compliance.



- Payroll & Pensions Administration: Manage payroll processes, statutory requirements, and returns.



- Contract and SLA Management: Provide financial support for Service Level Agreements and contracts.



- Team Management: Guide and develop the Finance Team, conduct appraisals, and manage recruitment.



Reporting Structure:



- Reports to the CEO.



- Manages Senior Finance/Payroll Administrator and Finance/Payroll Administrator.



Important to note:



Although there will be a degree of flexibility within the role, it will be based on-site. Hybrid working is not being considered.
