£35,000 basic increasing to £40,000

This well established and forward-thinking family ran Luxury Holiday Operator boasting 7 resorts across the UK and Europe are now looking to expand their finance team by hiring an onsite Finance Manager to make a positive impact on their stunning flagship lodge park!
The Finance Manager will undertake a variety of supervisory activities to ensure the accuracy and cost control on-site, as well as providing and analysing management reporting.

Responsibilities include:
On-site cost control:
Ensure departments raise, code and receipt POs correctly
Obtain approvals for non-PO supplier invoices
Follow up with suppliers where quantity/rate/details are incorrect.

Reporting:
Produce weekly flash reports for restaurant and spa performance.
Analyse reports to understand performance spikes/troughs.
Review monthly results and work with local teams to drive performance.

Payroll:
Own payroll submissions for company - attention to detail is a must!

Other:
Communicate and update schedules to reflect any changes to contracts/leases/capex.
Reconcile petty cash and prepare journals for Bristol team to input.
Support year-end audit.

The candidate:
The ideal candidate must be a qualified accountant.
Experience of Sage is desirable but not essential.
Must be highly motivated with great attention to detail.
Experience using interface systems is desirable.
