Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: North Norfolk District (fully office based)

Salary: £40,000-£45,000

Our client, an established manufacturing business are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to oversee the finance department's systems and processes, monitor critical financial data, oversee debt management, and support HR administration. This role is pivotal in minimising financial risk and developing processes essential to the organisation's operations.

They are looking for someone with a strong foundation in both finance and HR administration. Excellent attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to work autonomously within a busy environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities


  • Perform daily banking transactions and reconciliations.
  • Conduct weekly payment runs and manage accounts payable and receivable, including daily debt collection efforts.
  • Input and reconcile Sales and Purchase Ledger invoices and credits.
  • Maintain and update daily cash flow forecasts.
  • Enter and monitor project data, contracts, and renewals using Wrike and IQMS systems.
  • Complete month-end processes, ensuring full ledger reconciliation and analysis for:

    • VAT
    • Inventory/Stock
    • Credit Card and Petty Cash transactions
    • HSBC Invoice Finance, Loan Accounts, Accruals, and Prepayments

  • Review wage payments weekly, conduct year-end financial analyses, and support accurate accounts reporting.
  • Maintain personnel records, update contracts, and oversee HR policies, procedures, and audits.
  • Ensure training records are accurate and up-to-date in Wrike.
  • Oversee staffing matters, including monitoring absences and holiday requests, and liaise with external HR consultants as needed.
