Finance Manager

My Wolverhampton based Distribution and Suppliers have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.

Duties will include: -

• Reporting to the Managing Director and managing an accounts team of 4


• Audited and management accounts including profit and loss / balance sheet


• VAT returns


• Weekly / monthly payrolls including pensions (Sage)


• Manage and reconcile nominal, sales and purchase ledgers


• Reconciling bank accounts


• Monthly BACS runs


• Liaise with contractors, suppliers and colleagues to ensure smooth running of the department

Key Skills: -

• Essential you have worked as a Finance Manager previously


• Must be fully conversant in all accounting procedures up to Audited and Management accounts


• Must hold an accounting qualification – AAT / ACCA / CIMA


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills


• Good man management skills


• Ability to lead from the front


• Able to meet strict accounting deadlines

Working Hours - Mon-Thurs 8.00am - 4.30pm & Fri 8.00am - 3.45pm
