Finance Manager

Our client, a well-established construction business based in Solihull, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with strong management accounting expertise and a background in construction to take on a key role within a growing organisation.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the business, ensuring robust financial control, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Overseeing cash flow management and financial controls
• Supporting project cost analysis and reporting
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and accounting standards
• Managing and mentoring a small finance team

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified or Qualified Accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant
• A background in construction, civil engineering, or a related sector
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to partner with operational teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
