Premier Engineering is seeking a Finance Manager to join a growing engineering company based in Portsmouth. This role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting business strategy through effective financial management. � �
The Finance Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (preferred)
• Experience in a finance management role, ideally within manufacturing or engineering sectors
• Excellent Excel skills
• Experience with Sage would be beneficial�
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting skills
• Knowledge of tax regulations, financial compliance, and auditing processes
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a finance team

The Finance Manager role will involve:

• Managing financial planning, payroll, budgeting, and forecasting
• Overseeing financial reporting and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Implementing and maintaining effective financial controls
• Managing cash flow, cost control, and financial risk
• Liaising with senior management to support business strategy
• Leading and mentoring finance team members
• Working with external auditors and regulatory bodies
