Finance Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to work in a small finance team in Evesham, taking over the entire finance function.
Salary: £45 - 55k
Duties:
Month-End Procedures: Oversee and execute all month-end closing activities, including: Reconciling balance sheets
Calculating and posting accruals and prepayments
Preparing Management Accounts
Reporting Variance Analysis

Budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Ensure all financial practices are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Monitor and manage cash flow
Lead and support the finance team, providing guidance and answering finance-related questions
Oversee VAT returns and ensure compliance with VAT regulations
Handle payroll processing
Get involved with operational decision-making, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance
Requirements:
Fully qualified Accountant or at least 5 years' experience
Experience budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Experience managing a finance team
Understanding of VAT
Experience with compliance would be beneficial
