Location: Ellesmere Port, CH65 0BE

Contract Duration: 3+ months
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: �20.31 per hour PAYE

Job Description:

We are seeking a Finance Officer to support the Council's Head of Property. This role will involve aligning budgets and expenditures into various categories such as Operational and Commercial. Additionally, you will be responsible for quantifying savings and identifying potential income generation from the Council's portfolio of Operational and Commercial assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Property in budget alignment and expenditure categorization.
• Quantify potential savings and additional income generation from the Council's asset portfolio.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to assist in decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial and performance practices and procedures within the public sector.

Requirements:

• Experience in providing finance support to a Council's Property function.
• CCAB Qualification or a relevant Business/Performance qualification (desirable).
• Sound working knowledge of financial and performance practices and procedures within the public sector (desirable).
