Finance Officer
* 12 month fixed term contract (possibility to extend to a permanent position)
* 35 hours a week, 52 weeks a year, full time position – part-time/flexible hours would be considered
* Salary range is from £33,450 to £38,220 per annum, depending on experience.
The School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient and professional individual to join our forward thinking and hardworking Finance Team.
This new position has arisen as the School moves forward with its strategic plans. As the school Finance Officer the successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the department, reporting to the Head of Finance.
The postholder will be responsible for key financial transactional and administrative duties as well as being responsible for all invoicing and recovery of fees. The successful candidate will also need to develop robust working relationships with parents as their main point of contact for school finances.
We are looking for a team player with excellent diplomatic, empathetic and interpersonal skills, along with a high level of analytical and problem solving ability and a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in management information systems and high level of knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is essential and previous experience working within the education sector is desirable but not essential.
