Finance & People Administrator

Job title: People and Finance Administrator Hours: 24 hours per week, in a pattern of your choosing. Onsite / remote working: Working a blend of on-site in Blackhorse Road and from home. This is a part-time role of 24 hours per week and we can be flexible how this is split across the week. Salary: £30k FTE / £18k pro rata Ciao We are Hackney Gelato, set up by two chefs, Sam and Enrico, and we are passionate about delivering authentic Italian Gelato into restaurants, delis, cafes and shops across the land so that everyone can experience Michelin Star quality ice cream. We are a small business, but we are growing quickly check out our website and the journey we ve been on so far We ve got a small headcount of 27 people which includes our office staff, warehouse and production teams. We are looking for a part-time Finance & People Administrator. This is a role for someone who has good business admin experience and is happy to get stuck in and support the whole team. As the business needs evolve your scope will too, offering a chance to learn more and develop skills and knowledge. Roles and Responsibilities: - Bookkeeping administration and support for our Finance Manager using Xero, including accounts payable and bank reconciliation - Supporting and processing Payroll using Sage - HR administration, such as letters and contracts, and maintaining HiBob, our people system - Covering the finance inbox, responding to internal and external accounts queries, and the general inbox, responding to business and customer queries - Organising regular team events such as informal drinks, company meetings, and seasonal parties. Ideal skills & experience - A couple of years experience in Business / HR / Finance administration is essential with an interest to develop in HR or Finance - Ability to deal with confidential information effectively - Great attention to detail and the confidence to act on errors spotted - Organised Someone who can manage their time well and work autonomously - Passionate, motivated and a team player.
