Financial Accountant

CMA are working with a growing technology company based in Portsmouth on an exclusive basis. This is a unique opportunity for a qualified financial accountant to join a growing business who have some exciting plans for growth over the next 5 years. As a financial accountant you will lead on production of statutory accounts, VAT, Tax and other associated duties.

What will the Financial Accountant role involve?

• Lead on preparation of statutory accounts including financial statement.
• Take ownership of the audit process liaising with the external audit partners.
• All VAT and tax related work within the organisations.
• Assist with the month end close ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Other ad hoc duties.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accountant vacancy:

• Qualified (ACA/ACCA).
• Previous experience in a financial accounting role.
• Experience gained in an audit role within a practice environment.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong IT skills including advanced Excel and experience with an ERP system.
