Financial Accountant

The Niche Partnership is partnering with a renowned not-for-profit organisation to find a Financial Accountant to join their team of 6 on a permanent basis. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity for you to support the Finance Manager as they begin to plan for retirement, offering flexible working hours, 2-3 remote days and an enhanced company pension (to name a few perks!). Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting year-end audit processes and year-end close
\n
• Producing monthly financial and management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations
\n
• Financial operations support - handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice entry, payment runs, and reconciliations
\n
• Gathering necessary data for budgeting and forecasting, monitoring income and expenditure against the budget
\n
• Supporting quarterly VAT returns
\n
• Absorb
\n
• Identifying opportunities for improved workflows, cost efficiencies, and systems
\n

 
What you will need:

\n
• To be qualified by experience or hold/working towards an accountancy qualification such as ACCA / CIMA / AAT
\n
• Financial accounting experience
\n
• Excel skills – Pivots, Vlookups, Sum Ifs
\n
