Description

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and relevant financial regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Process and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare tax filings, VAT returns, and support external audits.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to management to support business decisions.
• Assist in improving financial systems and processes for better efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with cash management activities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting best practices and regulatory changes.

Profile

• May be studying towards an Accountancy qualification.
• May have previous experience working as a Financial Accountant.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in a financial accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is a plus).
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Offer

Salary: �30,000 - �50,000
