Our client is a reputable business in Boston and are looking to add a Financial Accountant to their team. Our client is a well known organisation in the Manufacturing and Production industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who is working towards their ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification.

If successful the Financial Accountant will be joining on a permanent basis, a salary up to �50,000 (DOE) and study support.

Description

Financial Accountant Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance VAT and corporation tax returns
• Maintain financial records and ensure all transactions comply with accounting standards
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee accounting processes
• Monitor stock valuation
• Assisting with preparing annual budgets and forecast
• Analyse financial performance
• Business Partnering
• Adhoc duties that may be required

Profile

The successful Financial Accountant:

• Part Qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is not essential
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Proficient in finance software
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience in preparing Management Accounts
• Able to commute to Boston
