Financial Accountant

Our client require an interim Financial Accountant to join their team on a short term contract. The ideal candidate will have good technical skills and have strong experience with balance sheet management.

* Ensure Finance processes are compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) requirements * Responsible for the production of the financial statements and associated notes and narrative in line with IFRS * Responsible for the production of quarterly consolidation packs* Act as a key point of liaison between the organisation and External Audit* Ensure Non-Current Assets are correctly recognised, componentised and reported, including managing the required revaluation exercises and interpretation of impact to financial reserves and government accounting.* Ensure any technical accounting adjustments, including provisions, impairments and write offs, are accurately assessed with supporting information to underpin management decisions* Provide technical accounting advice and guidance in line with International Financial Reporting Standards and the financial reporting manual (FReM)* Ensure General Ledger control accounts are reconciled monthly, and Trial Balance is correctly reflected in management reporting with any differences controlled and managed.* Ensure the organisation's leasing arrangements are correctly accounted for in line with IF...
