Financial Analyst

Accountable Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a successful company based in the Preston area in this newly created role.The client are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced Finance Analyst to join their dynamic and growing finance function on a full-time, permanent basis.You will oversee the provision of a full Management Accounting service to ensure that accurate, timely and relevant information is produced to enable effective financial management of the organisation, alongside other duties.Benefits include - increased pension / generous AL / hybrid workingKey responsibilities:Supervise the production of annual and profiled budgets for all cost centres based on assumptions agreed by the Business Partners with budget holders.Oversee the production of forecasts based on methodologies agreed with the Business Partners and ensuring that validation checks are in place to avoid errors.Manage the workload of the management accounting team including ad-hoc requests for information and reports and support the professional and personal development of team members.Ensure that all processes and procedures are documented, kept up to date and aligned with the financial regulations.Support the Finance Business Partner Team to areas of the organisation where projects/business cases require additional resource.Provide support to the FP&A to assist the continued development a suite of quality and trusted Management Information (e.g. the roll out and expansion of Power BI).Deputise for the Senior Management Accountant as appropriate.Experience Required:Part Qualified/ equivalentAdvanced Excel skills & Power BI desirableStrong communication skillsExperience of using spreadsheets and database tools to analyse financial data.For more information, apply below now for a confidential call
