Our client is a well-know name in the healthcare sector, wish to appoint an experienced, creative and highly motivated individual to play a key role through a period of planned expansion.Leading theteam and providing financial guidance and direction as part of the senior management team. The Financial Controller will have a day-to-day, ongoing impact on company operations, helping analyse, strategise, and grow the business. As a member of the senior management team, the FC will be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear and effective communication skills." Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the appointed person will have wide-ranging responsibilities across cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, and help drive the companys financial strategy and hiring needs. This is a role that requires a highly technical qualified accountant that has significant experience working in a high-growth environment effectively managing a range of financial priorities including: Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as reporting for the same. Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organisation. Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows. Comply with national and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and taking appropriate action. This business has significant plans for growth, organically and via acquisition therefore a highly professional person able to work with senior managers across all departments to efficiently develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract/grant compliance and reporting in necessary. Interested candidates should possess 5 years or more of post-qualification experience, strong level of academic achievement and a proven track record in a leadership role. Candidates with additional experience such as: International finance experience, experience in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations; experience within the field of private healthcare; experience with SalesForce will be advantaged.
