Reporting directly to the CFO, the Cost Controller will play a crucial role in monitoring and optimising our company's costs and financial performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Approval Process: Ensure seamless weekly approval processes for all staff and uniform-related expenses, maintaining strict compliance and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Audit and Procurement: Conduct thorough audits and manage procurement processes, from raising purchase orders to validating their issuance, ensuring meticulous adherence to organizational guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Expenditure Management: Analyse and optimise expenditure across critical spending areas, ensuring alignment with industry benchmarks and operational requirements to maximize cost-efficiency and financial health.
- Operational Support: Collaborate closely with operational teams to implement and support flexible budgeting strategies, fostering operational efficiency and resource optimization while maintaining alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant: Hold a professional qualification such as ACA (ICAEW), ACCA, FCCA, or CIMA certification, demonstrating comprehensive expertise in accounting principles and practices.
- Immediate Availability Preferred.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Proficient in Excel and financial systems, with a proven ability to analyse data effectively.
- Excellent Organisational and Communication Skills: Ability to organize tasks efficiently and communicate effectively with finance and operational teams, facilitating collaboration and achieving organisational objectives.
- Proven Experience in B2B/B2C Environment: Demonstrate successful experience in a B2B or B2C environment.
