Spencer Clarke Group are working exclusively alongside a growing & impressive business based in Windermere area to appoint a Financial Controller within a stand-alone role to develop the Finance function for a newly acquired subsidiary.

As the Financial Controller, you'll be vital in managing the finance function for the subsidiary ensuring effective management of the full finance function under supervision of the Managing Director. The role will be implementing all financial controls, processes & systems as well as working in partnership with operational teams.

We are looking for experienced Finance Managers/Financial Controllers that are self-motivated, adaptable and driven by excellence & high standards.

About the role

Based in the stunning office in Windermere, you will be tasked with:

  • Production of weekly and monthly financial reports, including month end management accounts and weekly revenue reports.
  • Review of daily reconciliations & transactions
  • Preparation of budgets & forecasts
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Pay roll, VAT, & Statutory requirements
  • Ongoing management & development of controls & processes ensuring continuous improvement in line with company standards

About you

The ideal candidate for this position will:

  • Preferably qualified/part-qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience working within a similar role
  • Excellent attitude to learning

What's on offer

  • Salary: �45,000 - �55,000 (may be negotiable for highly experienced candidate)
  • Benefits: staff discounts, company pension, 28 days holiday, potential for study support & progression opportunities
  • Contract type: Permanent
  • Hours: Monday to Friday - 5 hours a week
