FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
MONDAY - FRIDAY:
£45,000 to £50,000 PER ANNUM DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
People Solutions are looking for a Financial Controller for our client based in Newport.

Day to Day Duties
You will be responsible for the finance department and reporting directly into the Managing Director
Taking ownership, producing timely and accurate management accounts for a number of different sites
Integrating newly acquired businesses and new developments into the trading company
The successful candidate will be required to work with each site to ensure accurate reporting
You will have a positive approach to the finance department
Full production of monthly management accounts including analysis and commentary
Prepare company budgets, forecasts and cash flow
Reconcile balance sheet
Control of fixed asset register
Responsible for payroll and pensions
Oversee Purchase and Sales Ledger
Credit control and debt management
Complete all HMRC return including VAT and other statutory returns
Leadership and management of two team members
Essential Skills
Fully Qualified accountant with at least three years' experience
ACCA, AAT (level 4), CIMA, ICAEW qualification preferred
Solid Technical Background
Able to use Microsoft office packages : Word, Excel
A hands-on approach, positive attitude, team player
Good Communication Skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable Experience
Experience of Quick Books
Management of Staff
Training
Company overview and training will take place on day one for the successful candidate starting with the business.
