Arch Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller for a Manufacturing company based in Coventry. This position with involve working within a small finance team and supporting the Finance Director.

Role responsibilities
For the role of Financial Controller, you will manage and lead a small team on a day-to-day basis, providing support and training where needed.
Prepare management accounts to a high standard and to strict internal reporting deadlines.
Experienced in statutory accounts preparation and group consolidations is required for the Financial Controller role.
Assist in the preparation of weekly CFM.
Ensure compliance with VAT and Corporation Tax requirements.
Prepare and file group VAT return is required for the Financial Controller role.
Assist the FD in financial planning and forecasting.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
Be responsible for credit control and cash collection.
Manage and process both weekly and monthly payrolls liaising with external providers,
Be the main point of contact for external auditors,
Other ad-hoc duties to assist the FD.

Role requirements
Advanced Excel / IT skills are required for the financial Controller role.
