Financial Controller Newry office based- £55-£65k Are you a skilled financial professional looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a dynamic and growing online home & decor company. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the business, ensuring accurate reporting, managing budgets, and providing financial insights to support the companys strategic goals. Youll work closely with the leadership team to optimise performance and ensure financial sustainability. What youll do: Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Oversee cash flow, working capital, and cost control measures Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies Provide financial analysis to support pricing strategies, inventory management, and cost optimisation Collaborate with department heads to drive business growth and profitability Implement and maintain strong internal controls and lead internal audits What youll have: Proven experience as a chartered accountant, financial controller or finance manager Strong understanding of financial strategies, cash flow, budgeting, reporting and auditing Advanced proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Excel Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) What youll get: Competitive salary of £55k-£65k 4-day working week for 6 months of the year (have Fridays off from April through to September, without using your Annual Leave) Opportunity to grow your career into a Financial Director A vibrant and supportive team culture How to Apply: Contact me (Charlene) on for a confidential chat or email or click Apply and Ill be in touch.?
