We're now looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Accountant to join our finance team in Bridgend. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in strategic business planning, delivering insights that shape our future.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Prepare and manage annual sales budgets and forecasts

  
  


• 
  

  Analyse variances against budget, forecast, and prior year – and provide actionable insights

  
  


• 
  

  Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management review

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare P&L accounts up to Gross Profit Margin (GP1)

  
  


• 
  

  Build financial models to support decision-making and business cases

  
  


• 
  

  Provide KPI reporting on sales initiatives, NPD, and pricing

  
  


• 
  

  Support capital expenditure planning, budgeting, and reporting

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain the fixed asset register and track capex against budget

  
  


• 
  

  Work cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, and Data teams

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with audits and Group reporting

  
  


• 
  

  Provide holiday cover for the Cost Accountant when needed

  
  

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• 
  

  Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in FP&A, budgeting, and financial modelling

  
  


• 
  

  Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent Excel skills

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborative, team-oriented approach

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communicator able to work to deadlines

  
  

Desirable:

• 
  

  Experience in a manufacturing environment

  BI reporting knowledge
