You'll be joining a rapidly evolving team to oversee their FinOps offering. This role suits an individual looking to expand their FinOps and ITAM knowledge or simply re-direct their career. Location: Bristol or EdinburghWorking Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days on siteBenefits: Discretionary Bonus, Pension Scheme up 15%, 35 Hours a week, 28 days + bank holidays. Salary: £55,000-£60,000 per annum. Key Responsibilities: Managing the AWS Invoicing, consulting the Finance Teams and AWS to settle queries. Monthly reporting on spend for review. Consulting with Cloud Service owners to deliver cost savings based on Cloud optimization recommendations. Monitor and report on cost optimization opportunitiesReview and refine a tagging framework and governance model. Work with Cloud Engineering and Platform teams to implement cost optimisation best practices. Lead cost optimisation meetings with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement of best practice. Essentials:Basic knowledge of AWS Services and Discount Programmes. Excellent stakeholder engagement, organisation, and communication skills. Familiarity with PowerBi and/or monthly reporting.Understanding of working with Service Desk tools/ticket systems. You are a self-motivated individual with enthusiasm, initiative, and drive to learn and improve. You will have worked with Operational Teams previously.An enthusiastic approach and interest in FinOps and Asset Management Strong interest in developing industry leading cloud cost management and optimisation solutions. Great interest in analytics and toolsNice to have: Familiarity with Analytics tools e.g. AWS Cost Explorer, QuickSight. FinOps qualification or desire to work towards this.
