Fire Alarm Service Engineer

Job description

Marble Talent are currently working with a well-established fire and security company who are currently seeking a Fire Alarm engineer to join their team to cover Surrey, South and West London. All candidates must have previous experience in small works and maintenance of fire alarms and emergency lighting in commercial premises. The ideal candidate should be able to work on their own initiative and have good fire alarm industry experience to correct standards along with knowledge of emergency lighting systems.

The Role

• Carrying out planned maintenance of Fire systems to the correct standard


• Carry out small works.


• Carry out fault finding on systems.


• Completing paperwork to the required standard


• Programming of systems and an understanding of cause and effect


• Meet predefined target times for maintenance and small works.


• Awareness of Health & Safety


• To present a professional appearance

The Candidate

• Understanding of BS5839:1, BS5266:1 and BS7671


• Experience of BAFE SP203-1


• Working on own initiative


• Good communicator with colleagues and Engineers.


• Ability to work on own initiative, to resolve issues and proactively to avoid problems.


• Ability to work under pressure.


• Have a flexible and willing approach to work.
