Position:�Fire Alarm Service Engineer

Contract:�Permanent/Full Time

Salary:��50,000 - �55,000 per annum (depending on experience) + �5,000 travel expenses

Location:�East London

Hours:�8:00am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 8:00am-4pm on Friday

Role Overview:



As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and inspecting fire alarm systems across several high-end residential buildings in East London. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to ensure systems remain fully operational and compliant with industry standards.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fire alarm systems in high-end residential buildings.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire alarm components to ensure proper functionality.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

  • Manage reactive and scheduled servicing, ensuring all works are completed efficiently.

  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and inspections.

  • Work closely with the management team to ensure contractual obligations are met and exceeded.

  • Attend to emergency callouts as needed.





Requirements:




  • Previous experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer.

  • Own tools required.

  • Own vehicle required for travel between sites.

  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and industry regulations.

  • Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
