Salary: £34,000 - £37,000 per annum

An established fire safety company is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join their team based in Wirral. The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire alarm systems at various client sites. This role requires someone with strong technical knowledge, a proactive approach, and a commitment to delivering top-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine service and maintenance of fire alarm systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations.
• Diagnose and repair faults on fire alarm systems to restore full functionality.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and service reports accurately and promptly.
• Provide professional and helpful customer service, offering advice on system maintenance and potential upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency support to clients outside of regular working hours.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer.
• Relevant qualifications in fire safety (FIA, BAFE, or equivalent certifications).
• Good understanding of fire alarm systems and industry standards (e.g., BS5839).
• Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently.
• Full UK driving license.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with different fire alarm system brands and models.
• Knowledge of emergency lighting and other fire safety equipment.
