Job Title: Fire Alarm Supervisor
Location: M25 Region 
Salary: £45,000 Per Annum
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fire Alarm Supervisor to lead a team of installation engineers working on various government projects around the M25 for a globally renown fortune 500 company. This is a hands-on role, with a 50/50 split between supervisory duties and working on the tools. As the supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of fire alarm installations, compliance with industry regulations, and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and lead a team of fire alarm installation engineers on site.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of fire alarm systems across various government sites.
  • Ensure all projects meet BS 5839 standards and comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Perform site surveys and provide technical guidance to the installation team.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist with hands-on installation tasks, including troubleshooting and commissioning.
  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and engineer performance.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks and ensure all documentation is up to date.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in fire alarm installation and supervision, with a strong knowledge of BS 5839 standards.
  • Familiarity with fire alarm systems such as Gent, Advanced, Apollo, Hochiki, Kentec, etc.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical knowledge.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.
  • Full UK driving license.
