Job Title: Fire and Security Engineer

Location: Within a 20-mile radius of CM16

Salary: �36,000 - �45,000 per annum

• Callout rota: currently 1 in 5, expanding to 1 in 6 with this position

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join our team, specializing in the installation and maintenance of fire and security systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the industry, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.


• Conduct routine inspections, fault-finding, and repairs across a wide range of fire and security equipment.


• Complete necessary paperwork and reports on completed works.


• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.


• Participate in the callout rota (currently 1 in 5, moving to 1 in 6).


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and relevant industry standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the fire and security industry.


• Proven ability to install and maintain a range of fire and security systems.


• Full UK driving licence (company van provided).


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

Desirable Skills:

• Relevant qualifications in fire and security systems (e.g., FIA, BAFE).


• Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring.


• Experience working in both residential and commercial environments
