Fire and Security Installation Engineer�



Salary: �32,000 - �42,000 basic DOE

Potential Earnings: Up to �50,000 + company vehicle



Location: London and Southeast



Peopleforce Recruitment are hiring for a fire and security installation engineer for one of our longstanding partners.



The Installation Engineers team cover London and the Southeast, installing fire detection equipment, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems. We are looking for an engineer with over 3 years of experience to handle various installation projects. We welcome applications from those experienced with either intruder or fire alarms.

  • Intruder alarms

  • Access control / Door entry systems

  • IP & Analogue CCTV systems with basic networking skills

  • Dual Com monitoring

  • Various communication devices

  • Conventional & Wireless Intruder Alarm Systems

  • Conventional, addressable & Wireless Fire Alarm Systems

  • Major brands of Panels & App-based systems

  • Emergency Lighting maintenance

  • Familiarity with NSI codes of practice, installation, commissioning, and maintenance

  • Knowledge of industry standards: EN50131, PD6662, DD243, BS4737, BS8243

Hours and Additional Details



Standard working hours are 8.30am-5.00pm, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 9 weeks on call (additional payment for on-call hours). The job involves working with ladders at height and can be physically demanding. A full UK driving license is required for the company vehicle, as you will travel to various sites in your area and need to be flexible.
