Location: Midlands

Salary: Up to �35,000

Job Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, days

Engineering @ 365, recruiting on behalf of our market-leading client in the fire and security industry, is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join their team. This role involves carrying out servicing of fire and security equipment across the Midlands, with occasional small works included.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine servicing and maintenance of fire and security equipment such as fire detection and alarm systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting CCTY and various other safety/security systems,


• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure equipment is functioning correctly and meets safety standards.


• Diagnose and repair faults in fire and security systems.


• Complete small works and installations as required.


• Assist with system commissioning


• Provide technical support as and when required to other staff members.


• Provide excellent customer service, addressing client needs and concerns efficiently.


• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.


• Attend Call outs (out of hours on rota)

Requirements:

• Previous experience in servicing fire and security equipment.


• Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems.


• Excellent problem-solving skills.


• Good communication and customer service abilities.


• Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively.


• Full UK driving licence.
