Fire Compliance Surveyor

Tay Recruitment are seeking a highly experienced Fire Compliance Surveyor. 

This role is crucial in managing fire safety compliance across our clients portfolio, ensuring adherence to statutory obligations and ensuring that they passive fire barriers are installed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a comprehensive Fire Compliance programme in line with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.


• Strong understanding of passive fire protection systems, fire doors and fire stopping materials is critical for this role.


• Providing advice and guidance to various clients on fire safety relating to property refurbishment, or maintenance work.


• Your key responsibilities will include managing fire door surveys, compartmentation, and measured surveys etc. and assist the company to obtain the correct accreditation in this industry.


• Carry out detailed condition and non-compliance surveys and produce appraisal reports (including for fire doors inspections).


• Plan and programmes work to meet agreed customer requirements and to minimise disruption and inconvenience, keeping customers fully informed of costs and progress.


• Liaising with such clients and sub-contractors to ensure competitive quotations

Qualifications

Essential: ASFP Level 3

Desirable: IOSH or NEBOSH Health & Safety accreditation
