Are you an experienced Fire Damper Service and Maintenance Engineer with a passion for safety and technical excellence? We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team and provide top-tier service across the UK, maintaining fire dampers and associated systems to ensure the highest standards of safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular servicing, maintenance, and repair of fire dampers across various commercial properties.
- Perform testing and inspections to ensure all equipment complies with fire safety regulations and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to fire dampers, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding fire safety.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including compliance documentation.
- Work within safety guidelines and adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
- Participate in regular out-of-hours shift patterns, with additional pay at 1.5x the regular rate.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in fire damper service, maintenance, or a related engineering field.
- Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and standards (e.g., BS 9999, BS 9991, and other relevant codes).
- Experience with mechanical and electrical systems, fault diagnosis, and repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the UK.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to working hours with a willingness to work out-of-hours shifts as required.
