Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Fire Damper Testing Engineer to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for the testing and commissioning of fire dampers in commercial and industrial properties, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough testing of fire dampers to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of fire damper systems.
  • Identify and rectify faults or issues in fire dampers and related systems.
  • Provide detailed reports on testing results and any corrective actions taken.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety guidelines.
  • Work closely with project managers and clients to meet project deadlines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and fire safety regulations.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in fire damper testing or a similar role in the fire safety industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire damper systems, testing procedures, and relevant regulations (e.g., BS 9999, BS 9990).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications in fire damper testing or fire safety (preferred but not essential).
  • Full UK driving license (required for site visits).
