Our client, within the public safety sector, is seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their team.This is remote role with travel to clients required. You can be based anywhere in the UK, as they have work available nationwide and will be given a company van and fuel card.Role DescriptionAs a Fire Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting Fire Risk Assessments in compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. You will also provide fire safety training, assist with resolving enforcement actions or notices, and offer solutions to improve fire safety measures. The role involves regular communication with clients, analysing fire safety risks, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Requirements: Full compliance with Building Safety legislation; candidates must be qualified to Level 4 Certificate in Fire Risk AssessmentRecent experience in a similar role such as Fire Risk Surveyor, Fire Risk Assessor, or Fire Safety OfficerProven track record of conducting fire risk assessments, ideally in the social housing or construction sector (or similar)Good knowledge of Fire regulations, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, legislation, and current best practicesWorking knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, and OutlookA full valid UK driving licence is required as this role involves driving on company businessExperience with firefighting equipment and first aid training is a plusKnowledge of Legionella regulations and risk assessmentPackage: £40,000 salary31 days of annual leave, including bank holidaysCompany vanFuel card
