Job Title: Fire and Security Engineer (Installation & Commissioning)



Location:�Glasgow (with occasional travel to Edinburgh)



Salary:�Up to �38,000 (DOE)

Contract:�Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Overtime available



A leading provider of fire and security solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional looking for a stable career in the fire and security industry.



About the Company:

The company is a prominent player in the facilities management and security services industry, with a strong presence across the UK.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Installation and commissioning of fire and security systems, including alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.

  • Conducting technical assessments to ensure system functionality, compliance with industry regulations, and overall quality.

  • Working closely with other engineers and apprentices to maintain high standards of service delivery.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise during installation or commissioning.

  • Adhering to company procedures and safety standards throughout all installations and commissioning activities.



The Ideal Candidate:




  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in fire and security system installation and commissioning (candidates with less experience may be considered for the right role).

  • Ideally, formal qualifications in fire and security systems (e.g., FIA, NICEIC, BAFE), although this is not essential.

  • Proven experience working in commercial environments.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.

  • Full driving licence required.
