Fire & Security Engineer

Elvet Recruitment are seeking a Fire & Security Engineer on behalf of a leading North East based Fire & Security Contractor.��The company�are a� multi-discipline�business covering the whole of UK and EMEA, working for major corporations in the Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 whilst retaining their�roots in the North East of England.

Responsibilities

• Install, Commission and Servicing of Fire�and Intruder Alarms systems, CCTV, Access Control, Public address & Voice Alarm systems


• Provide high levels of customer services.


• Understanding site plans, to allow installs to take part based on site survey documentation.


• Reactive call outs to site, with an aim to provide a first-time fix.


• Provide on-site technical support and solutions to customers during both reactive and planned visits.


• Complete documentation in line with company standards.

Skills & Experience:

Capability of lone-working and as part of a team

Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Flexible and self-motivated

Full UK driving licence

Skills:

• Good people management skills


• Technical expertise in predominant skillset area


• Competent admin skills with sound working knowledge of internal business system.


• Sound commercial awareness, knowledge of design and pricing of systems and upgrades�


• Valid CSCS/ECS Card


• IPAF/ PASMA/ Asbestos Awareness certification


• Recent/current electrical qualifications


• Knowledge of industry standard manufacturers preferred (Bosch, Dahau, Hikvision, Hochiki, Advanced, Paxton, Apollo, C-Tec, Milestone)

Remuneration

Salary is dependant upon experience but typically ranges between �35-37,000 p.a plus overtime. Also provided is a fully expensed company vehicle (for business and personal use). Package includes pension and a very generous holiday entitlement of 28 days holiday plus stats and an additional 2 weeks at Christmas
