Installation Engineer Position



Salary: �40,000 - �48,000 (dependent on experience)

Earnings Potential: Up to �50,000 + Company Vehicle



Location: London and Southeast

Job Purpose

As an Installation Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for installing Fire Detection equipment, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems throughout London and the Southeast. We are looking for experienced engineers to work on a variety of projects.



Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you should have several years of experience in installing intruder alarms and/or fire detection systems. Experience with access control and CCTV systems is highly desirable. Key skills and experience include:




  • Installation of Intruder Alarms

  • Installation of Access Control / Door Entry Systems

  • Installation of Fire Detection Systems

  • Knowledge of IP & Analogue CCTV Systems with basic networking skills

  • Familiarity with Dual Com Monitoring

  • Understanding of Communication Devices

  • Experience with Conventional & Wireless Intruder Alarm Systems

  • Experience with Conventional, Addressable & Wireless Fire Alarm Systems

  • Knowledge of Major Brands of Panels & App-based Systems

  • Maintenance of Emergency Lighting

  • Familiarity with NSI Codes of Practice for Installation, Commissioning, and Maintenance

  • Knowledge of Current Industry Standards (EN50131, PD6662, DD243, BS4737, BS8243)

  • Experience in Commissioning

Hours and Additional Information

Standard working hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with flexibility on start and finish times. The role may involve working at height and can be physically demanding. A full UK driving license is required for the company vehicle, and you will need to travel to various sites in your area.
