Fire and Security Engineers

We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is a key employer in Cornwall, part of a UK National M&E Contractor, this specialist office of the business is looking at recruiting up to four more engineers to cope with the increased workload.

Duties

• Installation and testing to the relevant codes of practice
• Excellent communication through all levels of the contract chain
• Able to manage installation from start up through to completion
• Diagnose faults using a pragmatic approach
• Provide technical support during the construction phase, ensuring that installations meet design specifications.

Skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
• Solid mechanical knowledge related to building systems and construction practices.
• Experience with system design, particularly in relation to fire and security applications.
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in installation processes.
• Understanding of electrical systems as they pertain to fire safety equipment.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £36,000.00-£38,000.00 per year depending on experience, this is based on a 40 hour working week.

You will get a Company Van, note it can only be used for business, Phone, Laptop, Tablet.

All kit is required, you just need to provide your own hand tools.
