This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a growing team and take responsibility for the installation and maintenance of fire-resistant materials, such as fire stopping seals and collars, within buildings. The role involves ensuring the prevention of fire and smoke spread, while ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

• \nInstallation of Fire-Resistant Materials: Install fire stopping seals, collars, and other fire-resistant materials in accordance with detailed blueprints to prevent the spread of fire and smoke within buildings.
\n
• \nMaintenance & Repairs: Carry out regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of installed fire stopping systems to ensure continued compliance and operational efficiency.
\n
• \nCompliance & Safety: Ensure that all fire stopping systems comply with relevant building codes, fire safety regulations, and industry standards.
\n
• \nBlueprint Interpretation: Work with detailed construction blueprints and technical drawings to accurately identify potential fire pathways and seal them accordingly.
\n
• \nSystem Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of fire stopping systems to identify any weaknesses or risks, and recommend corrective measures.
\n
• \nDocumentation: Maintain detailed records of all installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring proper documentation for clients and internal teams.
\n
• \nCustomer Support: Advise clients on fire safety procedures and provide ongoing support for fire stopping systems.
\n
• \nEmergency Response: Be available to respond to urgent service requests, ensuring fire stopping systems are functioning correctly in emergencies.

• \nTraining: Provide guidance and training to clients and staff on proper fire stopping procedures and safety practices.
\n

Requirements:

• \nExperience: Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire stopping systems or fire-resistant materials.
\n
• \nTechnical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fire safety regulations, fire protection systems, and the ability to work from technical blueprints.
\n
• \nSkills: Hands-on experience with fire stopping materials (e.g., seals, collars, fire-resistant boards) and passive fire protection systems.
\n
• \nCertifications: Relevant qualifications in fire safety, construction, or a related field (e.g., Fire Safety qualifications, CSCS card).
\n
• \nProblem-Solving: Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
\n
• \nCommunication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
\n
• \nAttention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure systems are installed and maintained to the highest safety standards.
\n
• \nHealth & Safety Knowledge: Understanding of health and safety standards, particularly in relation to fire safety and construction environments.

Benefits:
