Fire Test Technician

Efectis is an independent third party assessing and testing the fire performance of a variety of products. The Role In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will play a crucial and hands-on role in maintaining the safety, precision, and overall efficiency of our laboratory operations. The individual will be responsible for contributing to the overall success of our test processes. Responsibilities Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols. Build and contribute to the creation/build of the product to be tested in the furnace. Adhere to strict procedures, whilst the test in underway and the subsequent clean up operations. Collaborate within the team to share information, continuous improvement and troubleshoot issues. Requirements Exceptional awareness of Health and Safety requirements General proficiency in use of Microsoft Office standard software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a Construction, Engineering or Civil environment Practical, hands-on experience Desirable criteria Previous experience of fire testing Salary to be disclosed upon application.
