Firestopping Manager

PSR Solutions are working with a Fire Stopping Specialist contractor who are looking to appoint a Freelance Fire Stopping Project Manager to Monitor the progress of fire protection installations on a freelance basis.

Duties:

• Conducting regular site inspections to verify compliance with regulations, standards, and project requirements.
• Oversee the testing and commissioning of fire protection systems, ensuring proper documentation of results.
• Ensure a high quality of HSEQ management is promoted and adhered to
• Plan and manage their project in-line with key performance indicators
• Maintain high quality communication with the client
• Co-ordinate temporary and permanent works design including obtaining the required certificates,
• Develop Client Progress Reports, Accounts, budgets etc. in a timely manner,
• Measurement and valuation of works complete on site (in collaboration with the project quantity surveyor where appropriate),
• Develop and maintain client relationships to promote new business.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a similar position within a fire stopping or fit out experience
• Have the necessary degree and management qualification
• In-date SMSTS and CSCS
• IFC, BM TRADA, FIREAS or LPCB certifications (preferred though not necessarily essential)
